    ALivE

    w/ Harvard GSD

Adaptive Living Environments (ALivE) is a collaboration at Harvard University between the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and the Map+S Group (New Frontiers in Material Processes and Systems @ Harvard Graduate School of Design). This collaboration seeks to bring Engineers, Scientists, Designers and Architects together to apply novel systems and materials technologies to the architectural context. Of special interest are adaptive materials and systems; dynamic materials able to automatically & predictively respond to the environment or a stimulus.

Over the years, I worked to ideate, develop and solve scale-up challenges faced when translating novel technologies to designed objects.
